In 2012 three
deepwater wells were drilled off the north coast of Cuba. All
three were unsuccessful. However, disappointment during the
exploration phase in any new area is not uncommon. Therefore,
it is possible, even likely, that additional deepwater drilling will
occur off of Cuba, especially as the Obama administration continues
to move forward with its efforts normalize relations with the
communist state. |
